Guided Dives
📌 In the Medes Islands Natural Reserve, Open Water divers, Level 1, or equivalent must be accompanied by a guide. 📌 Divers with advanced certifications can dive with a guide by prior reservation. In case of not diving with a guide, they will receive a detailed ecobriefing of the dive site.
Minimum Age
Minimum Age 👶 Bubblemaker (pool): 8 years 🐠 Eco Try Dive: 10 years 🎓 Introductory Course: 10 years (recommended 12 years) *In Spain is possible to dive from 8 years old, but some activities require a higher minimum age.
Minimum Certification (Medes Islands)
📌 Divers with certifications lower than Open Water Diver, Level 1, or equivalent CANNOT dive in the Medes Islands Natural Reserve.
Dive sites (Medes Islands)
🔹 Distribution of dive sites: Specific dive sites cannot be reserved as dives are shared with other authorized centers and depend on the weather.
How the dives work
📍 Meeting point: 30 minutes before the dive at Hotel Panorama. 🚛 Equipment transport: We transport the gear to the port by truck while divers walk 5-8 minutes to the boat. 📖 Ecobriefing: Briefing about the dive site before entering the water. 🕒 Total duration: 2 hours per dive.
Schedules
🕗 Regular hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (with a lunch break). 🚤 Dive schedules: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.
Required documentation
To dive, it is essential to have: ✔ Diving certification ✔ Accident insurance ✔ Medical declaration 🔍 Documentation will be verified before the dive (in physical or digital format).
